With over 25 years of experience in the global security sector, Mike brings a comprehensive background that spans sales leadership, operational management, and executive-level strategy. His expertise includes international market development, channel and strategic partnerships, and the execution of scalable, regionally aligned business operations.
Previously, Mike served as CEO and owner of a U.S.-based private security company that successfully scaled to more than 600 employees. This experience provides him with a rare, practitioner-level understanding of security technology adoption, operational realities, and end-user requirements. His career uniquely bridges the perspectives of security integrators, service providers, and technology manufacturers, enabling a pragmatic, outcomes-driven approach to deploying advanced security solutions in complex environments. Mike is also the founder and inventor of GuardTrax, the first company to deliver real-time GPS tracking of security personnel, reflecting his long-standing commitment to innovation and operational accountability within the security industry.
Mike is a proud 25-year active member of ASIS International. He currently serves as President of the ASIS Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, where he is deeply engaged in advancing education, research, and professional development across the global security community.

Prior to joining Thermal Imaging Radar, Mario spent nearly a decade in technology and cybersecurity sales at venture-backed companies including Factor, Tactic, Abnormal Security, and Peek. During this time, he supported high-growth go-to-market initiatives, drove revenue expansion, and guided customers through complex enterprise buying cycles.
